![]() ![]() Skyrim SE if you do not plan to mod is definitely a far better option in my opinion. It's much more enjoyable not having to constantly update mods on a game every time you have an itch to play it. After a few years of dealing with that I just decided to uninstall Skyrim SE, and Fallout 4. I got tired of having to get a new version of Script Extender, as well as getting updated versions of particular mods that also had to be updated 'every' time Script Extender had to be updated, though only a few but enough to be annoying. Though Creation Club again is the reason I decided to just flat out abandon Skyrim SE. ![]() Very few HDT mods have been ported to Skyrim SE, though I think Skyrim SE has the most clothing HDT compatible mods. HDT is nice for clothing, and Hair Physics including backpack/weapon physics as well, really changes the game's appeal animation wise. ![]() Though it exist for SE it's supported off Nexus by people who are not the original HDT creators most often so you have to google to get it working for Skyrim SE. Oldrim also supports HDT far more easily, as getting the framework for it is a breeze. Though there are plenty of people making mods of Skyrim SE they're normally not as good as often. Issue for me was Creation Club and how a lot of modders seem to have abandoned Skyrim SE and gone back to Oldrim. Graphically without modding it's very appealing to look at as well when compared to Skryim LE (Oldrim). It is most definitely the most stable of the two games, and has much nicer Frame Rates to boot. I originally considered Skyrim SE to be the better Skyrim to play on. ![]()
